In March 2025, Katowice Airport opened new car park, designation "P5." As part of the first stage of the investment, 863 new parking spaces were built, thus increasing the total number of available spaces at Katowice Airport to approx. 6.7 thousand.

Car Park P5 is located in the south-eastern part of the airport, facing the aircraft maintenance base. The new car park is fully illuminated and equipped with advanced parking and monitoring systems. The infrastructure is connected with Car Park P4, which was put into service in mid-2024. Katowice Airport offers free transfer to passenger terminals for customers of both car parks.
