During twenty-eight full days of February 2025, air carriers handled 355 568 passengers as part of the Katowice Airport network of regular and charter flights; that's 51 708 travellers more (+17.0%) than in the same time last year. It was the best second month in the history of Katowice Airport. The previous record-breaking result for this time was noted in 2024, when 303 860 persons were handled at the airport.

Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines and Air Dolomiti (carrier handles flights for Lufthansa) carrier 214 329 passengers on regular flights to/from Katowice Airport, i.e. 10 632 more (+5.2%) than last year. 138 067 travellers, i.e. 38 758 more (+39.0%) than in February 2024, were served on charter flights for travel agencies.

During the second month of 2025, 2 758 takeoffs and landings were noted at Katowice Airport, i.e. 170 more (+6.6%) than in February 2024.

From January to the end of February 2025 Katowice Airport noted 713 291 passengers, i.e. 101 910 more (+16.7%) than last year. 422 642 persons were handled on regular flights, i.e. 7 470 more (+1.8%) in comparison with the same time in 2024. Charter flights were chosen by 274 221 travellers, i.e. 79 683 more (+41.0%) than last year.

During the first two months of 2025, Katowice Airport noted 5 763 aircraft takeoffs and landings, i.e. 483 more (+9.1%) than in 2024.
