In January 2025, a total of 357 723 passengers was handled at Katowice Airport, i.e. 50 202 more (+16.3%) in comparison with the same time last year. It was the best first month in the history of Katowice Airport in total traffic; the previous record-breaking result was noted in January 2024 (307 521 passengers).

208 313 travellers, i.e. 3 162 fewer (-1.5%) than last year, were noted on regular flights, which are handled at Katowice Airport by Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines and Air Dolomiti (the airline operates flights for Lufthansa). In January 2025, 136 154 passengers, i.e. 40 925 more (+43.0%) were served on charter flights.

During the first month of 2025, 3 005 aircraft takeoffs and landings were noted at Katowice Airport, i.e. 313 more (+11.6%) than last year.
