Wizz Air has announced that a sixth aircraft will be based at its base at Katowice Airport from 1 June 2025; the airline will also launch four new destinations.

On 1 June 2025, flights to Chișinău will commence. The capital of Moldova will be handled four times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

On the next day, i.e. on 2 June 2025, Wizz Air's aircraft will fly from Pyrzowice to Piza, Italy. The route will be available on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

On 3 June 2025, Wizz Air will begin operating flights to Madrid. It will be possible to travel from Katowice Airport to the capital of Spain on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

During "Winter 2025/2026," Wizz Air will launch flights from Pyrzowice to Agadir. The first flight will be handled on 28 October 2025; the route will be available on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Furthermore, during "Summer 2025" Wizz Air will increase the weekly number of flights from Katowice Airport to Dortmund (from 14 to 21), Alicante (from 2 to 4), Kutaisi (from 2 to 3) and Keflavik (from 3 to 4).
