In September 2024, air carriers handled 782 811 passengers on regular and charter flights to/from Katowice Airport, i.e. 76 775 more (+10.9%) than last year. It was the best ninth month in the airport's history; the previous best result for September comes from 2023, when 706 036 passengers were noted.

Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Airlines and Air Dolomiti (the airline operates Lufthansa flights) handled 302 336 passengers on regular flights, i.e. 23 361 more (+8.4%) than in September 2023. 478 396 travellers flew via charter flights, i.e. 52 348 more (+12.3%) than in 2023.

During 30 full days of September 2024, Katowice Airport recorded 5 526 aircraft takeoffs and landings; that's 326 operations more (+6.3%) than during the same time in 2023.

In three full quarters of 2024, 5 112 619 passengers were handled on regular and charter flights at Katowice Airport, i.e. 628 027 more (+14.0%) than last year.
