In July 2024, air carrier handled 847 410 passengers at Katowice Airport; that's 90 851 passengers more (+12.0%) in comparison with the same time last year. It was the best July in the history of Katowice Airport. Furthermore, for the first time in the history of the airport, more than 800,000 passengers were handled in a single month.

During the seventh month of 2024, Wizz Air, Ryanair, LOT Polish Alrines and Air Dolomiti/Lufthansa handled 315 630 passengers on regular flights, i.e. 19 248 more (+6.5%) than the year before. In July, flights to Dortmund, London-Luton, London-Stansted, Frankfurt and Eindhoven were the most popular among travellers.

During 31 full days of July, Katowice Airport noted 527 692 persons on charter flights, or 69 892 more (+15.3%) than in July 2023. Most popular were holiday flights from Pyrzowice to Antalya, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, Djerba and Heraklion.

From January to the end of July 2024, Katowice Airport handled 3 463 319 passengers, i.e. 460 815 more (+15.3%) in comparison with the same time last year.
